How to "Brand" Yourself

So you're probably thinking, how do I "Brand" myself. Well some of the best ways to brand yourself are to write articles. There are several article sites out there where you can get your articles published. I use ezines.com and several others. Do a Google search on how to get your articles published. You can also brand yourself by making lenses on Squidoo.com You can take a look at one of mine by visiting
network culture from there you can click on "make a lens" and it will walk you through the process. Make sure you put your picture, your bio and make a lens about something you know about and share your knowledge.

Furthermore, one of the best ways to brand yourself are to write a blog just like I'm doing here today with you. Just go to blogger.com and start yourself a blog. It's easy it's fun and it helps let others know who you are and what you do. Remember, people join people. Don't ever try and shove your business down someone's throat. You wouldn't want someone to do that to you so always keep it real, talk about your opp if you wish but don't try and convince anyone. Brand yourself. Let others get to know you. Join social networking groups such as MySpace or Facebook, or Twitter. Keep up with your posts. Comment on others pages. Get to know others, and maybe just maybe they'll subscribe to your blog, or take a look at your opp.

The Game of Marketing and How to Play It

Why do so many people fail at Network Marketing? Well they fail because the majority of home business owners have NO CLUE how to market, let alone run a home business. Especially if you're company has no system in place for you to use failure is on the horizon.

Even if you have a system it's a good idea to take a course in marketing such as this one, CLICK HERE. You can get a free video course there and learn a lot of valuable information.

What can I offer you today? Well if you've got a vehicle and you're not promoting your business on it, you're wasting valuable advertising space! Plus you can count the miles on your car as a tax deduction. You can use your autoship as a deduction, your cell phone, your internet, anything associated with your business pretty much you can write off at the end of the year. I had to get a laptop for instance, that is a write off for me.

To get signs for your vehicle just go to VistaPrint.com they are cheap and awesome. I hope you'll take my advice and learn to market and use all resources to you such as your vehicle to advertise. Brand yourself as well. Get your name and your face out there. Let people get to know you. Start a blog such as this one and help others once you know what you're doing.

Are You Building Your Business? Or Expecting it to Build Itself.


What are you doing everyday to build your business? Have you read "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson? If not GET IT! It will help you immensley in building your business. You must do something everyday to build.

Things you can do: Make a list of things to do each day such as, mail out so many post cards to prospects. Putting rack cards or biz cards out where ever you can. Even dropping a few on the ground in a store or where ever. You can also put some in an envelope write "Free take one" and tape it to ATM's, or outside soda machines. Make sure this is not against the law in your state.

I've also put fliers on cars in parking lots. Also make sure you are allowed to do this. Make a point to call a few prospects every day, if you don't have any do the above to get some. Always have you name, number, site and picture on your advertisements.

Make sure your company has a system for you to use. Places for you to point people to for the information. As Professional Network Marketers, we are Professional Pointers, we just point people in the direction of the information. We don't beg, or try to convince someone into anything. If you have to beg or convince them today, you'll be having to convince and beg them every single month and eventually they will quit because the didn't want in - in the first place.

The people that are interested after seeing the information be sure to be available to answer questions and have your up-line help you if you are new at it. Always form that relationship with your interested prospects but don't PUSH! Let them come to you and ask you the questions.
