Are you using the slight Edge???

Hello friends! What have you done today to further your business? You're not just sitting there feeling sorry for yourself are you? There are so many ways you can work your business let me go through just a few for you.

First you need to join a bunch of social networking sites such as myspace, facebook etc, reply to others posts and always include your signature with your link. This is a great way to communicate with like minded people and make friends and get your link out there.

Also there are the traffic exchanges Traffic Swarm probably being the most popular. I myself use Traffic Swarm, Click Voyager, Traffic Splash, Traffic Fairy and Hit Safari just to name a few. The more you click the more your site will get seen. Now with some of these sites like Click voyager for instance you have to ASSIGN your credits so don't just keep on clicking and think that your site is being shown it's not you have to assign your credits to your sites. Try to only have a few sites on there as the more you have the less they will be seen unless you plan on just clicking all day. I try and spend at least an hour a day clicking. I do them all at once using Firefox in multiple tabs. To learn more about tabbed browsing go to firefox and click on the tab next to the one you have open and a new one will open for you. Its a great way to multitask and click several sites at once.

Also there is blogging. Get your business out there! I use this blog for instance to get out there and have the RSS feeds to it on my Squidoo pages and my ning pages. I also update to my Facebook account everytime I refresh a blog or do something different. This is a great way to get the word out there about your business and have followers if you have good information in your blogs.

There are also ppc sites which I tend to stay away from. There are plenty of free ways to market your business without going into debt using the ppc sites but if you have a good amt of cash flow coming in from your business by all means use some of the ppc sites they are also a great way to get your business shown.

Now lets talk about some offline techniques that I absolutely love! If you have a vehicle and you don't have something on your back window you're wasting valuable advertising space! Put something on your back window! You can buy the peel and stick letters and numbers right at Walmart and put a saying or something pertaining to your business and your link or your number or both you'd be surprised how great this works. There is always someone behind you when you're out and about and they might be looking for what you have!

I also love making my own business cards or you can go to vistaprint and have them done they have several deals where you only have to pay for shipping. But take your cards put them in an envelope that says FREE TAKE ONE put about 10 cards in there and tape them to ATM machines, gas pumps, outside vending machines; anywhere where they are going to be seen. Make sure you are allowed to put them on the ATM machines and NEVER put them on the ones right at the bank. I put them on ATM's that are in store parking lots. They are gone usually within an hour or so I go back and put more cards in. These are just a few ways to do some offline marketing. You can also do drop cards, be walking along in your local store or grocery store and drop a card here or there. Someone will pick it up and it may just be what they are looking for. Also with your biz cards, keep them super simple. You don't want to try and explain your whole business on one card. Use a catchy line and have a link to a lead capture page. Great way to get leads.
